Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) carefully before using the CloudLaundry platform, website, mobile applications, POS system, SMS/WhatsApp integrations, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by CloudLaundry (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, merchants and others who access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

Businesses must be legally registered or operating lawfully in Nigeria (or have valid authorization) to use the Service for commercial purposes.

3. Accounts & Registration

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Some features of the Service are provided on a subscription basis (Essential, Professional, Enterprise Suite). You authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis for the chosen plan.

All fees are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy (if applicable). We may change pricing at any time with 30 days’ notice via email or in-app notification.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent or unauthorized purpose
  • Transmit viruses, worms, malware or any harmful code
  • Abuse our SMS/WhatsApp notification system (e.g. spam, unsolicited messages)
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Scrape, copy or reproduce any part of the Service without permission

6. Customer Data & Privacy

You retain ownership of all data you upload or input into the Service (“Your Data”), including customer phone numbers, order details, inventory records, etc.

We process Your Data only to provide the Service and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from your customers before using SMS/WhatsApp notifications (including opt-in proof if required by law).

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content, features and functionality (including software, design, text, graphics, logos) are owned by CloudLaundry or our licensors and protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark and other laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your active subscription, solely for your internal business purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CloudLaundry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Failing that, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos State, Nigeria.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
